Research Focus ‘Exploration of Universe and Matter - Belle II'

With its new framework program "Exploration of Universe and Matter, ErUM", the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is funding basic research in the fields of smallest particles, matter and universe. Researchers within this framework program are organized into specialized research foci (FSP), each of which combines several research groups into a superordinate network. The organization aims to increase the efficiency of the research, but also to support the visibility of the FSP in the public, as well as the promotion of young scientists and future generations of cutting-edge scientists.

The Belle II Research Focus (ErUM-FSP-09) is a relatively young project and was launched in December 2019. It consists of a consortium of all German institutes participating in the Belle II project.
